One of the top rodeos in the nation based on total purse and celebrating 81 years of existence, the San Angelo Rodeo brings top cowboys and cowgirls from the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association every year. For a city less than 100,000 people, an event of this caliber is virtually unheard of. The people of San Angelo are no strangers to rodeo as they are deeply rooted in the sport. San Angelo has been coined a "Cowboy Town" not only because of two weeks dedicated to cowboys and cowgirls in February, but also because year-round, this is a West Texas passion. The western way of life is the only way of life in San Angelo, and we are proud to host one of the longest running, most prestigious rodeos in the world.
Tickets will become available Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. and can be purchased at regular ticket outlets including the Coliseum Box Office, Blair's Western Wear, Pinkies, Barbed Wire and Roses, and the Convention Center. Prices include tax.
