Special Events

The San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Association hold and hosts a variety of special events throughout the year, and this is the place to keep up with upcoming events!
 
The Fall Spectacular, formerly known as the Summer Spectacular, is a jack-pot livestock show that the association has been holding for over 20 years. The event includes three JMGSC sanctioned goat shows, two TCCA sanctioned steer and heifer shows, two TCLA sanctioned lamb shows, and two TCPA sanctioned pig shows. Exhibitors can compete for points, and a 75% payback in the lamb, pig and goats shows. Cattle shows are points only.
 
The National Reined Cow Horse Association's Celebration of Champions held annually in late January and early February has been held at the 1st Community Credit Union Spur Arena the past few years. This events attracts equine enthusiasts from across the nation and world for that matter. It is one event you will not want to miss.
