Mutton Bustin' in the Rodeo

The Sonora Bank sponsored Mutton Bustin' is a crowd pleaser during the rodeo. This competition features some fearless children saddling up a lively sheep in hopes of hanging on as long as they can. The crowd is on their feet with cameras in hand ready to capture these adorable and unforgettable moments.

The Mutton Bustin' takes place during every rodeo performance, except the PRCA Finals and Cinch Chute-Out. Participation is limited to boys and girls weighing less than 50 pounds and a minimum of 4 years of age at the time of competition.

To participate in the coliseum rodeo performances a parent can register their child on January 11th, 2020 9:00 a.m. at the Sonora Bank located at 5710 Sherwood Way, San Angelo, (at the intersection near the new H-E-B and Sam's Club). Sign up will be on a first come-- first serve basis and close as soon as all posted slots are filled.

There is a $25.00 entry fee per contestant - CASH ONLY - due at sign up, NO REFUNDS.

After the completion of individual paperwork, parents will select their preferred date at that time. Each contestant will receive two tickets for their selected performance. Additional tickets can be purchased at the Coliseum Box Office if they are available.
