The Sonora Bank sponsored Mutton Bustin' is a crowd pleaser during the rodeo. This competition features some fearless children saddling up a lively sheep in hopes of hanging on as long as they can. The crowd is on their feet with cameras in hand ready to capture these adorable and unforgettable moments.
The Mutton Bustin' takes place during every rodeo performance, except the PRCA Finals and Cinch Chute-Out. Participation is limited to boys and girls weighing less than 50 pounds and a minimum of 4 years of age at the time of competition.
To participate in the coliseum rodeo performances a parent can register their child online at www.sanangelorodeo.com on March 10th, 2021.
Sign up will be on a first come-- first serve basis and close as soon as all posted slots are filled.
There is a $25.00 entry fee per contestant - due at sign up, NON REFUNDABLE.
Parents will select their preferred date at the time of online registration, and will only be allowed to sign-up for ONE performance. Each contestant will receive two tickets for their selected performance, as long as the contestant meets the 50 pound weight limit. Any contestant weighing over 50 pounds will forfeit their entry fee and tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased at the Coliseum Box Office if they are available.
