Justin Jonas - Executive Director

Justin Jonas - Executive Director

Justin was appointed Executive Director in August of 2007 & oversees all facets of the association. Justin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University, where he also competed on the livestock judging team. He went on to get his Masters in Science from Angelo State University. Justin, his wife Bridgette, and son Levi raise sheep just outside of San Angelo, and are very involved with their church. 
Kermit Wendland - Operations Director

Kermit Wendland - Operations Director

Kermit began working for the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Association in 1971 as a volunteer in the Cattle Department. He considers it a true blessing to be association with the Association over an extended period of time. He grew up in Miles, Texas and graduated from Miles High School and then continued his formal education at Texas A&M University graduating with a B.S. degree in Agriculture. Kermit enjoys working with a wide variety of people and events during the year as he oversees day to day operations for the SASS&RA as well as overseeing rental events held on the Fairgrounds. Due to the fact that Kermit showed cattle as a 4-H and FFA member and also raised cattle in a family cattle operation, he maintains a keen interest in the cattle shows held during the San Angelo Stock Show. Kermit enjoys leading a Bible study group in his Church and considers spending time in the county and enjoying nature as his hobby. 
Josh Hilton- Rodeo Manager

Josh Hilton- Rodeo Manager

Josh joined the team in June 2020, and brings a vast knowledge of the rodeo industry. Also known as "Hambone," Josh has a sound production business in the rodeo industry as well. Josh was the Music Director at the San Angelo rodeo for over a decade before becoming part of our full time staff. He is a two time PRCA Music Director of the Year. Josh and his wife Whitney, have a son named Gus. They enjoy traveling and spending time together. 
Mason McGuire- Assistant Operations Director

Mason McGuire- Assistant Operations Director

Mason is a Lake View High graduate and has been involved with the Association since his high school days! He originally took an internship on the fairgrounds for his Eagle Scout program and has since served many positions for the association. After graduation from Angelo State University, Mason became Assistant Operations Director. He is responsible for overseeing the set-up for all of the associations events and rental events throughout the year on the grounds, and coordinating the grounds crew. He also helps set up rental agreements and coordination with guests!  
Brenda Orozco- Office Administrative Assistant

Brenda Orozco- Office Administrative Assistant

Brenda is a San Angelo native and serves as our office administrative assistant. This friendly voice routinely answers when you call. She helps with venue rentals, oversees volunteer membership records, manages parade entries, and creative arts entries. She also assists with RV reservations, accounts receivable, and many other clerical administrative needs. Brenda enjoys going to the beach, volunteering, and spending time with her family. She is engaged to Mark Ybarra, and will be planning a wedding very soon! We're proud to have Brenda as a part of our team! 
Jaelynn Salisbury-Livestock Director

Jaelynn Salisbury-Livestock Director

Jaelynn is a West Texas Gal who moved to San Angelo to attend Angelo State. After receiving her degree in Agriculture Science, she was hired on as full time staff! Jaelynn coordinates with all of our shopping and food vendors as well as our scholarship recipients. She and her husband Matthew have been volunteering for the association way before her time of working with us! Her high energy spirit and customer service makes her a joy to have as part of our association. Jaelynn enjoys being a part of an association that does so much to give back to the future of the agriculture industry! 
Mikhaila Adcox - Livestock Director

Mikhaila Adcox - Livestock Director

Mikhaila joined the team in 2022! Having originally moved to San Angelo to attend Angelo State University, where she received her Masters of Science degree in Animal Science, she quickly fell in love with the West Texas way of life. Mikhaila served on the National Champion Wool Judging team during her tenure at Angelo State University in 2017. Her passion for youth education in agriculture, previous experience in the extension and show industry, and determination to provide positive exhibitor experiences make us proud to have her as a member of our team! Melissa Clements - Ticketing Coordinator

Melissa Clements - Ticketing Coordinator

Melissa is a graduate of Miles High School and has lived in the area her entire life. For the last 5 years, she has been one of the friendly faces working in the ticket booths during the Cinch Roping Fiesta and The San Angelo Rodeo. Melissa has now come in and joined our team for all the ticketing needs. Her knowledge of the ticketing system and software, will help make the process of producing, selling and buying ticket products much smoother. She will be helping current and future Season Ticket holders of these events as well as the general public. Melissa and her husband Cody, have a daughter named Sadie and they enjoy watching old westerns and spending family time together.
