The San Angelo Rodeo Parade is held the first Saturday of the rodeo, as a way to officially kick off the event. Regardless of weather, the parade will go on, with the exception of lightning. The Parade Committee works tirelessly to line-up parade entries. This parade is one of the largest held annually in San Angelo and is always a favorite of spectators. The parade is also televised on KLST-TV and KSAN-TV!

This annual event is held in historic downtown San Angelo, and features riding clubs, antique tractors, wagons, marching bands and floats.

The annual parade route is listed below:

  • Irving and Concho Street
  • Proceed East to Oakes
  • Turn left on Oakes to Twohig
  • Turn left on Twohig
  • Proceed to Chadbourne
  • Turn right on Chadbourne and proceed to College St.
  • Turn left on College, proceed to Irving
  • Turn left on Irving, proceed to Beauregard
  • Turn right on Beauregard, proceed to Randolph
  • Turn left on Randolph, proceed to River Drive & dismiss

There is no cost to participate in the rodeo parade, only an entry form is required (please see below).

SASSRA reserves the right to approve or refuse any entry submitted for the San Angelo Rodeo Parade. Any politically affiliated group wishing to participate must receive explicit approval from the Board.
